1942 Ford GPW

Bought as a rolling chassis with initial restoration work begun by previous owner who lost interest. Frame up restoration was accomplished over several years and completed in 2008 (many thanks to Roger Condron and other friends in the MV Club). Original body was to far gone to repair so a high quality replica was used (Ron Fitzpatrick) Running gear is all original Ford and many original early Ford parts were used including seat frames, w/s frame, black out light, pintle, bumperetts, cast w/s clamps and lots and lots of F-bolts. Three vehicle modifications were incorporated for better function, 6 volt alt., lockin/lockout hubs, SOLEX carb., runs great. Canvas/webbing is my own American Patrol made product and is available by request to other MV enthusiasts.
